Capturing the natural graining and tonal depth of spalted primavera wood, our Alvaro tables juxtapose organic warmth with the modern elegance of weathered aluminum. Each Alvaro piece is artisan-crafted in Mexico by our imaginative artisan partners, where curved metal panels, each left out in the elements to develop their own unique patina, are precisely wrapped around the sides to highlight the collection’s sculptural form and striking material contrast.
- Handcrafted from fragments of salvaged Mexican spalted primavera wood and aluminum.
- A hand-applied finish highlights to natural beauty and tonality of the wood. An acrylic lacquer is then applied for added protection and a subtle sheen.
- Spalted primavera wood may display cracks and other organic features, including scorch marks, water stains, and natural graining, that will not affect the quality or performance of your piece.
- Side panels are crafted from aluminum sheets left out in the elements to weather, developing a rich patina of dimples and speckles as they age.
- This collection is artisan-crafted from natural materials with hand-applied finishes. Individual pieces may vary in color, pattern, shape, and texture, making each truly unique.
