Description
The Alvaro table series blends the organic warmth of spalted primavera wood with the sleek elegance of weathered aluminum. Each piece is handcrafted in Mexico, where curved metal panels are exposed to the elements to develop a unique patina before being precisely wrapped around the wood sides. This process highlights the collection's sculptural form and striking material contrast.
- Handcrafted using fragments of salvaged Mexican spalted primavera wood and aluminum.
- A hand-applied finish brings out the natural beauty and tonality of the wood, followed by an acrylic lacquer for protection and a subtle sheen.
- Spalted primavera wood may feature cracks, scorch marks, water stains, and natural graining that do not affect quality or performance.
- Side panels are made from aluminum sheets left outdoors to weather, creating a rich patina of dimples and speckles as they age.
- Artisan-crafted from natural materials with hand-applied finishes, each piece varies in color, pattern, shape, and texture for a one-of-a-kind look.
