Description
The Alvaro Console Table serves as a sculptural dialogue between reclaimed nature and industrial artistry. Handcrafted in Mexico, each piece features a unique, fragmentary top of salvaged spalted primavera wood, where deep grain and organic history are sealed within a luminous finish. This warm core is elegantly wrapped in curved panels of aluminum, weathered outdoors to develop a one-of-a-kind patina of dimples and speckles. The result is a modern frame for a piece rich with natural narrative. Meticulously handbuilt from salvaged materials, the table showcases the inherent uniqueness of its components. Each wood surface tells a unique story with natural spalting, tonal depth, and organic features like subtle water stains or grain variations. The aluminum side panels evolve over time, developing an unrepeatable landscape of texture and color. A hand-applied finish and protective acrylic lacquer enhance the wood’s beauty while ensuring durability and a soft sheen, celebrating the inevitable variations that make no two tables alike.
