With seating upholstered in all-weather fabric set atop solid plinth bases crafted from natural teak, Carmel’s welcoming silhouette was made for leisurely moments and effortless outdoor living.
- This collection is crafted from sustainably harvested Grade-A teak wood, selected for its natural beauty and durability.
- Carmel’s premium natural teak hardwood curated by Zarevium is untreated and unfinished; its organic color tones are honed by finely sanding into a smoothed surface.
- Natural teak highlights organic variations in color and graining. These characteristics may differ between pieces.
- Natural teak may display small splits, knots, joint lines, or other features, adding character to your piece without affecting its quality or performance.
- Teak hardwood contains natural oils that repel insects, prevent drying, and resist moisture. Teak is also resistant to fungal decay, rotting, and warping due to temperature or humidity.
- Over time, natural teak’s warm, golden color eventually fades to a silvery-grey patina. Weathering will begin immediately when left uncovered and in daylight.
- Carmel’s upholstery is crafted from an open-cell, quick-dry foam wrapped in high-quality poly fibers made from recycled post-consumer plastics.
- Crafted to withstand the elements, Carmel’s upholstery has been engineered for maximum water drainage and air circulation.
- Seat and back cushions feature a mesh bottom panel to allow water drainage.
- Fabrics are made from 100% solution-dyed polypropylene fibers, which are bleach-cleanable, fade-resistant, anti-mildew, and eco-friendly.
- Fade- and mildew-resistant furniture covers are crafted from Agora® Compact Special Piedra composed of 100% solution-dyed acrylic and feature mesh ventilation and a water-repellent finish.
- Sectional components are held together by stainless steel connecters to prevent shifting.
