The Leandro Collection blends storage and display seamlessly. Handcrafted in Mexico, this piece uses reclaimed and sustainably sourced oak. Artisans stain, finish, sand, and lightly distress the wood by hand. This careful process highlights the natural colors, textures, and grain patterns of the timber.
- Hand-built by artisan partners in Mexico using reclaimed and sustainably sourced solid oak and oak veneers.
- Minimal stains and finishes are applied by hand to highlight the wood’s naturally weathered look.
- Spalted Oak pieces are naturally bleached by the sun.
- Spalted Oak and Ebony finishes are sealed with clear acrylic lacquer for protection and a soft shine. For these styles, epoxy resin fills gaps in the reclaimed wood, then gets sanded smooth for a uniform surface.
- Fawn finishes use a light stain to emphasize natural color variations and organic details like cracks and gaps found in the reclaimed wood.
- Over time, finishes may shift. Natural wood might show small splits, knots, joint lines, or other marks that add character.
- Each piece is unique. Because they’re made from natural materials with hand-applied finishes, individual items can differ in color, pattern, shape, and texture.
