Description
The Mihaela Collection draws inspiration from the stained interiors of wine barrels, resulting in a masterfully crafted piece of art. Each item is built by a family of artisans who use oak veneers hand-cut from the foothills near their mountain village. The finishes are applied by hand using a closely guarded, secretive process that creates a rich color while accentuating the natural textures and organic grain patterns of the wood.
- Frames are made from sustainably harvested oak veneers.
- Each piece is craftsman-built by a multigenerational family of artisans in Romania who apply finishes by hand following a closely guarded process that takes three days to complete.
- Hand-carved detailing is artfully painted to appear as metallic accents.
- Drawers feature push-to-open functionality and premium under-mounted, soft-close glides.
