Description
Discover the Mihaela Console Table in Vin Alb, where centuries-old craftsmanship meets contemporary design. This exquisite piece draws inspiration from the rich, stained interiors of wine barrels, featuring a modern silhouette that beautifully explores the use of negative space.
Each table is meticulously crafted by a multigenerational family of artisans in Romania using sustainable harvesting practices, with wood sourced from locally grown Romanian oak trees up to 250 years old. Constructed from alternating layers of solid Romanian oak and spruce wood, this console table ensures exceptional stability and longevity.
The finishing process takes three full days, beginning with water treatment to open the wood's grain, allowing hand-applied natural oil finishes to penetrate the full thickness of the wood. The result is a stunning piece that highlights the natural grain and color variations, complemented by hand-carved detailing artfully painted to resemble metallic brass accents.
