Description
The Pola Plinth Coffee Table is an artistic centerpiece that grounds your living space in modern sophistication and timeless character. This piece masterfully juxtaposes the warm, organic narrative of salvaged wood against the raw, industrial strength of a weathered steel plinth base, creating a stunning dialogue between primitive form and modern design.
Each tabletop is a unique canvas, crafted from oyster-cut reclaimed ash and sustainably sourced burl. The hand-applied reactive dyeing technique celebrates the wood's natural tannins, resulting in deeply layered, one-of-a-kind hues. Topped with a durable matte acrylic lacquer, the surface is protected while preserving the natural tactile feel.
The intentionally oxidized steel base develops a distinctive patina over time, making each piece a living, evolving work of art that embodies the Wabi-Sabi appreciation for beauty in imperfection.
