Description
The Polanco Salvaged Ash Sideboard embodies renewal and artistry, crafted from fallen Mexican ash trees gathered after storms. Local artisans transform these logs through an oyster-cutting process, arranging them in striking mosaic-like patterns alongside sustainably sourced European ash burl. This creates a surface that is as unique as it is breathtaking.
Set atop a base of naturally oxidized steel, the piece balances organic texture with industrial soul. A reactive hand-applied finish enhances natural tones, preserved by acrylic lacquer. Two adjustable shelves and integrated cord management provide form and function. Variations in grain and potential marks are celebrated as character, making this sideboard a one-of-a-kind heirloom shaped by nature and human hands.
