Description
Born from nature's resilience, the Polanco Tall Cabinet tells a story of transformation and artistry. After heavy storms, fallen Mexican ash trees are salvaged by artisan partners in Mexico, then meticulously oyster-cut and arranged by hand.
Combined with sustainably sourced European ash burl, these fragments form a breathtaking mosaic surface that celebrates the wood's unique history and character. The cabinet is anchored by a base of naturally oxidized steel, its evolving patina offering a striking contrast to the warm, textured wood.
Finished with a hand-applied reactive stain and protective acrylic lacquer, each piece honors organic features like natural cracks, water stains, and grain variations—ensuring no two cabinets are alike. With two spacious drawers and enduring craftsmanship, the Polanco Cabinet blends rustic soul, sustainable values, and sculptural presence.
