Each year, thousands of monarch butterflies migrate to a magical village in Mexico, where metalworking is a treasured craft handed down through generations. Our Recycled Metal Collection springs from this heritage, forged over an open flame to produce distinctive patterns and colors while giving new purpose to materials that would otherwise be thrown away.

  • The artisan-crafted tabletop features sheets of recycled metals shaped onto a hardwood base.
  • Copper and Chocolate Copper tabletops are handmade using 100 percent recycled copper.
  • Zinc Alloy tabletops are built from reclaimed tin, aluminum, and zinc.
  • Brass tabletops start with recycled aluminum and are hand-finished with a warm brass tone.
  • The Vertex Table Base is made of iron with a flat black finish that complements the beautiful tones of the recycled metal.
  • Artisans hand-hammer each tabletop more than 3,500 times to achieve its uniquely textured surface.
  • Varied patinas are developed by holding each tabletop over an open flame.
  • Two layers of lacquer provide protection and a subtle sheen to every tabletop.
  • Once finished, artisans hand-stamp a Monarch butterfly on the edge of each tabletop to symbolize its transformation.
